Download Change, Change, Change - Les McCann - Change, Change, Change (Live At The Roxy)

Armed with an outboard horn section, McCann and his band cut loose at the Roxy club in West Hollywood with a furious energy that owes more to rock than at any other time in McCann 's Change. The gig starts off with a bang of excitement on the title track, and that streak hardly lets up throughout the record, although a couple of leisurely soul ballads let a bit of Change - Les McCann - Change steam out.

Guitarists Nick The Room Nobody Lives In - Mama Cass* - Dream A Little Dream and Steuart Leibigand the drumming of Kevin Johnsonprovide a lot of this rock fire; as a result, the funky side of McCann is not too much in evidence here.

  3. A late 70s electric effort from McCann, not quite as sublime as some his records from a few years before this, but with some funky bits, and some vocals from Les. The best moments are the laidback mellow tracks, which have sort of a smooth Bobby Lyle feel to them.
